Garbage

Weekly garbage pickup is required.  Garbage pickup is provided by: Carter Miller Services 641-724-3673 and Tim’s Trash Service 641-895-7755.

Appliances, computers, TVs and other items can be taken to the Rathbun Area Solid Waste Commission transfer station located at 3020 McCarty Street, Centerville, IA.

Recycling

The recycling trailer will be in Moravia the second Thursday of every other month. It is parked across the street from City Hall from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Appanoose county residents can also drop off recycling at the recycling center at 3020 McCarty Street, Centerville, IA.
